For years, I worked in product development for Brooks Brothers and then Rag & Bone lugging multiple bags to work every single day. None of my bags could handle separating all my early morning gym stuff from everything I needed throughout the day; to allow me to transition gracefully to post-work fun!
One hectic morning the strap of one of my three bags got stuck in the number 6-train turnstile at 33rd Street in NYC, launching my salad onto the platform. The furry subway dwellers got a free meal and I got a great Idea!!
Go Dash Dot has changed my life for the better, and I hope it will do the same for you! - Hannah Fastov
We take our name from the language of Morse Code.
Morse Code itself is universal and easily translatable, as are any of our bags.
We selected the sequence - - . - - - for our name, which signifies the word GO. To us, the word GO represents moving forward, doing it all, and having it all. The world is ours for the taking, all we need to do is get GOing!
We are proud to be a member of the
Female Founder Collective
As women, we have the power to shape and transform our communities—through our purchasing power and also through the leadership and employment opportunities we offer as business owners.
Thank you for supporting our female-founded company, and we hope the symbol and organization inspires you to seek out more women-led businesses. Because supporting other women benefits us all.

Our goal at Go Dash Dot is to empower women and provide them with the tools necessary to confront life's challenges from a place of strength; with confidence, dignity, and integrity. With this ideal in mind, we have partnered with women cooperatives all over the world whose mission is to support independence and empowerment by providing women with skills and work opportunities.
We currently work with the South Tribes in Kyrgyzstan and Sherab in Bhutan to incorporate their traditional crafts in our bag accessories, which can be added to personalize any Go Dash Dot bag. The majority of the proceeds go directly to the cooperatives. We have also partnered with My Sisters' Place to help raise funds and awareness for their organization.

SOUTH TRIBES PROJECT
South Tribes is a social entrepreneurship project based in Central Asia, started as a cultural endeavor to revive the forgotten local tradition of tassel weaving to help provide a sustainable economic model for women.
The national dress for Bhutanese women, The Kera, is what we have transformed into straps for our handbags.
A portion of each strap purchased goes directly to Sherab and her family.
MY SISTER'S PLACE
We have partnered with the amazing organization, My Sisters' Place, to help them raise money and awareness.
With every purchase of a purple tassel, proceeds are split between the South Tribe and My Sisters' Place!
